According to US News and World Report, a new study has found that white children are approximately twice as likely as black or Hispanic children to get unnecessary antibiotics.
Despite warnings from scientists about antibiotics strengthening germs and making more people resistant to medications, some children visiting US emergency rooms are being treated with antibiotics for viral infections.
