Appendicitis and Allergies Discovered to be Linked

Appendicitis is a condition in which the appendix becomes inflamed and filled with pus, causing very high amounts of pain. A recently conducted study has shown that children with allergies have a lower risk of developing this condition.

Since 1985, J&D Ultracare has been providing skilled nursing services to the medically fragile population of the New York Metropolitan area as well as the greater Hudson Valley. We see clients in Rockland, Dutchess, Putnam County, Westchester, Sullivan, Ulster, and Orange Counties.
